International Union of Radio Science-Nigeria (URSI-NG) Is a Nigeria
member body of a non-governmental and non-profit organization under the
International Council for Science Union of Radio Science, is responsible
for stimulating and coordinating, on a local and international basis,
studies, research, applications, scientific exchange, and communication
in the fields of radio science.

- The study of all frequencies in a non-ionised environment including (i) wave propagation through planetary, neutral atmospheres and surfaces; (ii) wave interaction with the planetary surfaces (including land, ocean and ice), and subsurfaces; (iii) characterisation of the environment as it affects wave phenomena;
- The application of the results of these studies, particularly in the areas of remote sensing and communications;
